A Burr in Snow, 2/18/2012

It never fails…whenever I go for a walk and any time I get near the burdocks to photograph them I always get them caught on my mittens, my scarf, my hat, in my hair, pant legs, or on my coat sleeve…and then I’m picking them off the do because his happy tail wags into them, or he picks them up in his neck ruffles because, as a dog, he sticks his nose in where he can find the best stories to sniff (the bunny passed through here on his way to over there.) Although burdocks are very annoying, I think they’re mighty cool looking little objects, their structure is ingenious…
